Brady V. had been jumping from job to job and wanted to make a greater contribution. He graduated from the HVAC program at Fortis鈥檚 Salt Lake City, Utah campus and is now a commercial technician, working on restaurant equipment, including ovens and ice machines. 鈥淚 feel a lot more confident and comfortable in my own skin,鈥� he said. 鈥淚 feel knowledgeable and valuable that I have something to bring to society and offer people.鈥澛�

Saving the day聽
Jarvis K. always loved tinkering with electronics. When he heard about the HVAC program at Fortis鈥檚 Mobile, Alabama campus, he knew it was a perfect fit. His favorite part of the job is saving the day. 鈥淲hen you go in somewhere and everybody is hot and sweating, and then you come in and you get that air conditioner going鈥攊t鈥檚 just instant gratification,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a beautiful feeling.鈥澛�
Experiencing variety throughout the day聽
